Phant with Pen in Trunksketchbook page 17, pencil sketch |

A realistic variation on the SaneDraw logo image: a phant with pen in trunk, ready to draw (or write).
In the Phanteland story, the possibility of humans conversing with phants is of paramount importance. Before the editors among you find reason to flee, let me state in no uncertain terms that the book does not contain talking animals (a major faux-pas in contemporary children's publishing, I'm told). However, some kind of visual communication is a distinct possibility. Whether phants actually use their trunks to write, or in fact eschew writing altogether, will be left for the reader to ponder ...for now. |
